Built by operators who got tired of reconciling dashboards.
Strata started in 2022 as a side project. Its founders — two former heads of SEO and one ex-Google indexer — kept finding the same gap: the best data lived in three or four tools that never agreed, and the downstream work of turning that data into decisions was being done in spreadsheets and Notion docs that were always one week stale.
We believed the problem wasn't that there was too little data. The problem was that the data was stored, priced, and presented as if the point were dashboards, not decisions. So we built a platform where the same index feeds every surface, where the output of every report is a patch, a brief, or an export you can hand off, and where your team stops spending its time explaining charts to executives.
Today Strata is used by in-house teams, publishers, agencies, and the operators their boards bring in to turn things around. We're a distributed team of 58 people across Seattle, Singapore, and Berlin. We are profitable, growing, and not in a hurry.
Every number in Strata is traceable to its source and its methodology. If a report cannot be audited, it will not ship.
Every surface ends in a next action. A chart without a next step is a bug.
We are a tool, not a hostage-taking agreement. Your data exports cleanly in open formats on any plan.
When a customer is wrong about what they want, we say so. It is cheaper for both of us.
